Sparkle N Sprinkle

I got to play with this adorable image called Sugar Girl from Lia Stampz! How cute is this! I must admit that I was a bit stumped by fancy folds so I did a little creative folding on the corners to create a dimensional frame for this adorable image. I colored this image with Copic markers, the bling is from Queen and Company and the adorable border die is from the Fancy Frame Dies from Craftin Desert Divas.

So we would love for you to play along! Remember it is all about Fancy Folds, so post your image on the Crafty Gals Corner Blog for a chance to win this week's prizes! You can get to the Crafty Gals Challenge blog by clicking here. You have until 11:00 am MST on September 26th, 2017 to enter! I can't wait to see what you create!

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #137-Penny's Masculine "Anything Goes" Challenge

This week it is all about the guys! It is time for Penny's Masculine "Anything Goes" Challenge!
I decided to go with a Classic! A Classic from Rubbernecker Stamps and this stamp is called Corvette! They have several of the old time car stamps and they are all adorable! I then colored the image with Copics and used metallic cardstock and a die to cut out the Happy Birthday and used a great border die set from Craftin Desert Divas called Inside Scalloped Rectangle Dies. I think this turned out really fun!

Make sure you head to the Watercooler Wednesday Blog and check out all the amazing samples the Design Team has for you and do play along with us!  For all the challenge details and to share your project, visit the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge by clicking here.  We'd love to have you join us.  You have until Monday, September  25th at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time to link your project.

Today For A Little Something Different

Hi Everyone! Today I am doing a little something different for you. I am not bringing you a "finished project" but rather sharing information on something that has been asked about our Glaze And Glue. So I am going to share the testing and show you how it went.
The question has been asked as to whether you can use Glaze And Glue with fabric. So here are three different types of fabric I used for testing. The blue one is a very thin lace, the off white piece is a piece of eyelet fabric and the third is a little bit thicker piece of trim.

For the purpose of testing I am using medium square glass on all three fabric pieces. I have applied the Glaze And Glue to the flat side of the glass as I would normally do for paper and placed the glass on top of the fabric. I did apply more glue than I would have for paper. Big lesson here, the drying time is much longer for fabric. Whereas with paper when you apply pressure, you can feel it grip within a moment or two. With the fabric I kept applying pressure and the fabric would come right off. I ultimately set it aside to dry for a little bit (more like ten to fifteen minutes) and came back to it. But, once it had dried, it really held well! These next three pictures are during the drying time.

This next picture shows the three samples once dry. You can see they have that same magnified clarity as paper images once dry and that is pretty awesome looking.

I then trimmed around the pieces and am showing you the front and back of the dried samples below.

Did you find this imformation helpful? Do you have questions for us? Do you have followup questions on this information? Please feel free to leave questions and comments below and I will be happy to answer them for you!

Hi Everyone! Today I want to share with you this adorable image from Craftin Desert Divas called Bear On A Limb. I made this project using this month's mood board. There are so many awesome colors to choose from. I really love how this came out.  This adorable guy was colored using Copic Markers. I also used Inside Scalloped Rectangle Dies and as this is a shaker card I used the Fall Harvest sequin mix.
